The Tinker Doodle Blanket is knit in squares, in the round from the middle. Some squares get a border for sides and corners, and all pieces are joined together with a 3-needle bind off for the finished blanket.
My half timbered series of knitting patterns is a tribute to this style of architecture and offers the essence of it in knitting patterns - both plain and intricate, and a chance to practice your craft to end up with a knitted item that you’ll be able to enjoy for a long time.
The Counting Stars Shawl is an asymmetrical triangular shawl, knit flat from tip to edge, slowly increasing in sections 1 and 2 and fanning out in section 3. Twisted ribs run across the shawl, stars are embroidered at the end of each twisted rib.
